Visitors will be REQUIRED to stay in the patient’s room during visitation and wear a MASK at ALL times. Physicians Regional Medical Group is affiliated with Physicians Regional Healthcare System. The system is also comprised of two hospitals – Physicians Regional-Pine Ridge and Physicians Regional-Collier Boulevard. According to a spokesperson for Physicians Regional, only one visitor will be allowed per inpatient hospital room. Our Pine Ridge hospital has received full Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Accreditation. This means that this location also has percutaneous coronary intervention available 24/7 on site.
In addition to transitioning medical services to the Turkey Creek and North Knoxville medical centers, Tennova will be relocating 18 licensed inpatient rehabilitation beds from the Physicians Regional campus to a new site at 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville. The rehabilitation facility will operate as a satellite department of North Knoxville Medical Center and is targeted to open in the first half of 2019, pending regulatory approval. Physicians Regional Healthcare System provides free, convenient, online self-scheduling for patients. Dr. Nicole Costello does not participate in Zocdoc to offer online booking at this time. A four-story medical office building is under construction by Physicians Regional Healthcare System across from the Physicians Regional – Pine Ridge hospital campus. The 107,000-square-foot building at 6376 Pine Ridge Road in Naples is being developed on more than 9 acres of vacant commercial property south of Pine Ridge Road, just east of Interstate 75 and west of Napa Boulevard.
A new cardiovascular intensive care unit is targeted to be complete in spring 2019. From acne to skin cancer, Physicians Regional Healthcare System offers diagnostic services and treatment options for a range of skin conditions. Mended Hearts volunteers include heart patients, their families and others impacted by heart disease. Its members draw on personal experience as they offer peer-to-peer support to patients, family members and caregivers through hospital, online and phone visiting programs, support group meetings and educational forums. Both Physicians Regional Healthcare System locations are Accredited Echocardiography Centers. Patients can rely on accreditation as an indication that the facility performing their examination has made a commitment to providing quality testing for the diagnosis of heart disease and disorders.
Nicole Costello is an attentive and caring family physician and primary care doctor based in Naples, FL. Dr. Costello earned her medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica.
